JAM Version Released!
Better late than never ahh devlog
Yes, the jam is already over, but I completely forgot to write the devlog! So here it is:
This version of the game was made in 48 hours for Mini Jam 178: Monsters. We managed to create basic gameplay, 25 elements, 23 combinations, and 35 behavior rules. Elements can interact with each other, and we tried to make these interactions logical and interesting (for example, living creatures avoid fire, and a hunter can catch and kill a beast). We didn't have time to perfectly finalize some technical details, mainly related to the UI and sounds, but we plan to at least release a bug fix after the jam evaluation.
Authors:
Made with:
- Unity – Game engine
- Procreate – Artwork
Known bugs:
- The list of open elements cannot be scrolled if it goes off the edge of the screen; an element will be selected.
- If you drag an element from the list directly onto the element it has a combination with, the combination will trigger, but the new element will also remain on the field.
- The "Play Again" button restarts the scene, but the starting elements are not added, so you won't be able to start playing.
- The "Exit" button closes the game, but in the browser version, it simply causes a freeze.
